Policy

Booking through the L'ange Gardien website enables an in-person appointment with us or via videocall, where we'll determine your individual childcare needs, schedule, and budget. We will work with you to help select the ideal nanny for your unique household and aid you in the necessary paperwork for both you and your nanny.

PLEASE NOTE:

Nannies must be 21 years or older and  provide adequate proof of a childcare related diploma, degree, or certificate of training that is by a recognizable establishment. Whether or not the proof is accepted is up to our discretion. Those who do not possess an applicable documentation of a childcare related education must take and pass a featured discounted course with L'ange Gardien. Based on availability, this course can either be taken in person or online. Current CV, recent background check, an in-person or videocall interview with us, at least four references, and proof of childcare-related education are required to be accepted.

Policy:

At L'ange Gardien, we are committed to providing exceptional services to our clients and nanny candidates. To maintain transparency and clarity in our operations, we have established the following policy regarding application fees:

1. Application Fees:

All nanny candidates applying to be part of our agency or eligible families seeking our services are required to pay a non-refundable application fee (of 15 Euro) as a part of their registration process. The application fee covers administrative costs associated with processing applications, thorough screening which includes reviewal of  background checks, and evaluating applicable qualifications.

2. Non-Refundable Application Fee:

The application fee paid by nanny and family candidates is entirely non-refundable. Once the fee is processed and the application is submitted, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the outcome of the application or any subsequent decisions made by the candidate or the agency.

3. Fee Amount and Payment:

The amount of the application fee is 15 Euro (as of 6/9/2024). Please check your inboxes to keep updated on the accurate pricing as this fee is subject to changes over time. Candidates are required to make the payment online via our designated payment portal or as otherwise specified by L'ange Gardien, or email us here for our bank details.

4. No Guarantees or Obligations:

Payment of the application fee does not guarantee acceptance into our agency or any specific nanny position. It also does not create any contractual obligation between L'ange Gardien and the candidate beyond the terms outlined in the application process.

5. Modifications to the Policy:

L'ange Gardien reserves the right to modify or update this no-liability policy for application fees at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website or through other communication channels.

6. Placement Fee & Refund Policy:

The "L'ange Gardien" promise is a replacement in two weeks starting after your nanny's last work day if they do decide to terminate the contract within the first month of their trial period. We will refund you $1485 of the placement fee (for full-time services only, for all services a return: of 74.25% is applicable) if we are unable to find a replacement in two weeks for your family after your nanny's termination in the first month (within the first 30 days) of their employment. This two-week grace period starts after their listed last date of work in their official notice of leave statement. However, once we're emailed proof of the signed notice of leave, we will start immediately searching for a replacement nanny for your family, so it's greatly advised that this is shared with us immediately after the notice is given. There is no refund for the initial application fee or if the nanny hands in their notice of leave after 30 days of work.

Probation periods and other contractual agreements: Our regulations about probation periods and notice of leave statements align with the origin country's law, however again, we do not regulate whatever contract you agree upon with your nanny.

 

Note on your country's law requirements: During the trial period anywhere between 1-6 months, you or the nanny have the right to terminate the work contract with a leave notice of two weeks. After six months, a notice of four weeks is required by law unless another date is mutually agreed upon by both parties in a formalized statement.
